– a small town, midwestern girl living in sunny South Florida with my husband and our two golden doodles.
Welcome to my lifestyle blog dedicated to good food, better drinks, easy entertaining ideas and laid-back living.
Sharing a cocktail, hosting a party with good friends, trying new recipes, making memories over a thoughtfully laid out grazing board; these are the moments I love to live and share with others.
Thanks for being here!
I’m so excited to announce that I have a podcast launching this weekend! I can’t wait to start this exciting next chapter in my food career. I’ve always shared “good food, better drinks and easy entertaining.” It’s in my Instagram bio, it’s on the footer of this blog and now it’s the name of my podcast! Introducing… Good Food, Better Drinks with Kirsten Turk. Eeeek!
Gather around the table with me as I share good food, better drinks and easy ways to entertain. Sharing a cocktail, hosting a party with good friends, trying new recipes, making memories over a thoughtfully laid out grazing board; these are the moments I love to live and share with others. Each week, I’ll start by mixing up a drink. Whether it be a coffee or a cocktail, make it alongside me, and we can sip on it together throughout the episode.
I’ll be sharing recipes, entertaining ideas and hosting hacks. With occasional guests, taste tests and monthly “in the kitchen episodes,” I hope this podcast inspires you to spend more time celebrating life surrounded by good food, even better drinks and the people you love most.
I’m launching this weekend, the weekend of my 29th birthday, and I made a promise to myself to give it one year. I’ll see where the podcast is at when I turn 30 and go from there.
If you’ve enjoyed my blog the last couple of years, give the podcast a try and see what you think! If you like it, please consider leaving a 5 star review– it helps new shows so much!
I’ll be sharing all of the recipes and ideas from the podcast right here on the blog, so check back weekly. Cheers to this new adventure!
