I love a good cheese board, and so do all of my friends and family. I’ve been bringing grazing boards, like this patriotic grazing board, to get togethers for almost two years now, and they’re always a big hit. This red, white and blue cheese board was no different!
Now-a-days, it’s basically a requirement for me to show up with one of these beautiful boards! Thankfully, I really enjoy putting them together and finding new cheeses, snacks and produce to add to them.
I always share my finished boards to Instagram (and save them under my “BOARDS” story highlight), so be sure to follow me on Instagram if you enjoy looking at gorgeous grazing boards and cheese boards just as much as I do!
I made this red, white and blue cheese board for the 4th of July this year, but it would also be perfect for Memorial Day and Labor Day as well! My favorite part was creating this fun time-lapse I can watch again and again.
For this patriotic grazing board, I searched the grocery for items that were just red, white and blue.
I found some fun holiday cheeses at Aldi like blueberry lemon and a star shaped white cheddar. I went with blueberries, blackberries and cherries for the “blue” and raspberries, strawberries and watermelon for the “red.”
For the “white,” I stuck with white cheeses, like cheese curds, white cheddar and brie, and white crackers.
I used a star shaped cookie cutter to cut a star into the rind of my brie, and filled that with pomegranate seeds. That went in the middle of my board, and then I worked around it in sections starting with my “blue” berries section.
Then, I alternated red fruit with white cheese and crackers until I made it back to my blue area. I finished the blue section with one big white cheddar star!

There isn’t a “right” way to make a cheese board. Have fun with it!
